The Hilton Dojo has operated since 1985 as part of the Karate Union of Australia, headed by Hanshi Carl Marriott until his passing in May 2014. The dojo was then successfully run by his children, Chief Instructor Todd Marriott 5th Dan, Sensei Kim Benn 4th Dan and Sensei Karie Morton 3rd Dan. In January 2025, it has passed to Sensei Gerry Freeman under JKA-SKC Australasia. We are grateful to the Marriott family, and the KUA, for their contribution to karate in Western Australia.
